With the way the snowpack's been in Colorado and after being spoiled by last season, low-angled trees and meadow skipping isn't exactly gonna cut it. So I've been hanging around the resorts this season while working on other aspects of skiing. Fun can be had if you know where to look and lately, I've been exploring Breck a lot more often. Not sure why, but the area gets a bad rap when in reality, there is a good amount of terrain to keep you busy... especially during a low snowfall year. A few examples...
Entrance into Ivan's 1 in Lake Chutes.
Separating Ivan's 1 from Zoot Chute (the widest in Lake Chutes) is a ridgeline known as Crazy Ivan's that has a few entrances before things get interesting.
