127 | Birmy at 9 Weeks

With another decent Saturday on the horizon and with a short break from long ski trips deep into national forest land, Nancy and I brought Birmy to Cherry Creek Reservoir for his first experience outside his minuscule apartment life.

Below are a few select pictures from the day and if you wish to view more and in larger size, please click here. All photos were shot in RAW with the Canon G10 and without any additional filters.

that is a cute dog, I might have to get a golden doodle. How big is it supposed to get? Any hip issues?

Judging by his growth pattern and size of his paws, I venture that Birmy will be about 70-75 lbs. when fully grown. But from what I've read, most standard goldendoodles are in the 45-65 lb. range. Hip dysplasia will be a concern since both golden retrievers and standard poodles are prone to this.

We have a 5 year old Golden (55 lbs) that we love very much. We have been thinking of adding another member to our dog clan. Golden Doodle's are very high on our list, and I must say, these pictures did not hurt that cause!!! Gorgeous!
